How to Connect to your VPS via SSH (Windows, macOS & Linux) Print

Introduction

When you purchase a high-performance VPS from Aurion Hosting, you gain full root access via SSH (Secure Shell). Here is how to connect securely.

1. Connecting on Windows (PowerShell / Command Prompt)

1. Open PowerShell or Windows Terminal.
2. Type the following command (replace YOUR_VPS_IP with your actual server IP):

   ssh root@YOUR_VPS_IP

3. Press Enter. If prompted with 'Are you sure you want to continue connecting?', type yes.
4. Enter your root password (note: characters will not show while typing for security). Press Enter to connect.

2. Connecting on macOS or Linux

1. Open the Terminal application.
2. Run: ssh root@YOUR_VPS_IP -p 22
3. Enter your password and you are immediately connected to your server root shell!
